Certified Nurse Assistant CNA

Nurse AssistantClasses will include innovative didactic learning, open lab hours, and practical hands-on clinical training. All content follows the California State-approved course curriculum. You will receive everything you need to pass the required state exam and will be well prepared to serve as a healthcare professional in your community.

Home Health Aide Certification HHA

Home Health Aid HHA is an additional certification for CNA’s. Home health aides make it possible for elderly, sick or disabled people to stay at home instead of moving to a nursing home. Home health aids typically work for agencies and some are self-employed.

Emergency Medical Technician EMT

The Emergency Medical Technician – Basic (EMT-B) course is intended for participants who are pursuing a career in emergency care pre-hospital environments or as a career with the fire department.

Being part of an EMS system, as a specially trained and certified professional includes providing immediate medical care in the pre-hospital setting to seriously ill or injured individuals. EMTs are often used as the first dispatched medical responder in an emergency medical system.

Restorative Nurse Assistant RNA

Restorative Nurse Assistant RNA is an additional certification for CNA’s. This course focuses on techniques of restorative therapy, including coordinating and encouraging a plan of action to promote future independence. You will learn to participate in patient treatment plans, evaluation and documentation of progress.

2 Day Course – 16 CEU’s received.

Continuing Education

Continuing Education CNA’s are required to obtain 48 CEU’s every 2 years for certification renewal. A minimum of 12 must be completed within your first year.

HHA’s are required to obtain 24 CEU’s every 2 years. A minimum of 12 must be acquired within your first year.
