Emergency Medical Technician EMT
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course is intended for participants who are pursuing a career in emergency medicine, pre-hospital care environments, or with the fire department.
Being part of an EMS system, as a specially-trained professional, includes providing immediate medical care in the pre-hospital setting to seriously ill or injured individuals. EMTs are often used as the first dispatched medical responder in an emergency medical situation.
CPR/BLS - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation & Basic Life Support
The CPR/BLS/AED course is designed to train participants to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. The course reflects current science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

HHA’s are required to obtain 24 CEU’s every 2 years. A minimum of 12 must be acquired within your first year.
